Amy Jenkins Fine Art

Painting is a way to share the beauty that I see.  It's not just the subject that I portray, but how the light and shadow and seasons affect the subject. My feelings also come through in the painting decisions that I make. I work in watercolor  because I can build up watery transparent layers, allowing colors to run together in the early stages of a painting.  I've painted wonderful subjects from far away travels, but prefer the familiar scenery from the southern midwest states.  I believe that my ability for art is a God given talent that needs to be practiced and developed.
