I used this barn as the subject of another painting "Hay Bales in the Barn" and thought that I'd like the tree to be the center of interest. The geometric shapes of the barn and hay bales proved to be dominant as the painting progressed. I used Arches 140 lb cold press paper for this painting. All materials are archival quality. The painting is framed in a rustic frame with dark brown tones, an off white mat and UV protective glass.
