I took photos of the Bass Harbor Light Station on a recent trip to Maine and when I turned around I saw this jaw-dropping scene of the coastline. My first thought was that I would only need two colors to paint it. I loved the simplicity of it. I enlarged the birds and added a "splash" from another photo. This painting is made with professional archival supplies and has a simple black frame with museum glass.
